Organizational Setting
The objective of the Department of Nuclear Energy (NE) is to foster the efficient and safe use of nuclear power by supporting interested Member States in\: improving the performance of nuclear power plants, the nuclear fuel cycle, and the management of nuclear wastes; catalysing innovation in nuclear power and fuel cycle technologies; developing indigenous capabilities around the world for national energy planning; deploying new nuclear power plants; preserving and disseminating nuclear information and knowledge; and advancing science and industry through improved operation of research reactors. Main Purpose
The consultant provides technical expertise to the PRIS Team and assists in coordination of the country nuclear power profiles (CNPP). This includes maintaining the CNPP website and database, preparing the CNPP annual publication, communicating with authors and contributors from Member States, etc. Additionally, he/she will validate, and compile information related to nuclear power program development in the Member States.
Functions / Key Results Expected
⢠Collect and revise the CNPP reports for language and internationally accepted standards and review them in close accordance with the structure and requirements guide.
Qualifications and Experience
Remuneration The remuneration for this consultancy is a daily fee of up to a maximum of ⬠250, based on qualifications and experience. In case duty travel is required within the assignment, a daily subsistence allowance (DSA) and travel costs are provided. Health coverage and pension fund are the responsibility of the incumbent.
