Update
Context
Under the supervision of the Partnership specialist, and in close collaboration with the Representative, Programmes and Communication sections, the incumbent will provide technical expertise to the UNICEF Country Office in the implementation of its Private Sector Engagement Roadmap. The role will focus on cultivating and managing high-value partners, mainly corporations, membership-based organizations and foundations, to deliver impactful results for children through both financial and non-financial collaboration.
Key responsibilities also include advancing advocacy efforts to promote child-friendly business practices in alignment with the Children’s Rights and Business Principles and leveraging private sector influence to drive sustainable change for children.

Task description
Corporate strategic alliances
- Map out important private-sector networks, entities and key influencers for engagement on child rights and Corporate Social Responsibility.
- Contribute to and conduct capacity-building initiatives for the corporate sector.
- Develop Corporate Social Responsibility partnerships, both with the public and the private sector.
- Participate in specific private sector events and relevant forums to promote t child rights, provide guidance, foster networking and support resource mobilization.
Private Sector Partnership Development
- Support the identification and development of new partnerships for financial and non-financial contributions.
- Analyze market opportunities for engagement through philanthropy, cause-related marketing, employee and customer giving, and special events.
- Establish and maintain a corporate partner prospect list.
- Conduct due diligence and manage donor profiles in UNISON.
- Prepare tailored engagement strategies, including pitch documents and other relevant materials.
- Develop and review draft agreements and Memoranda of Understanding with corporate partners.
- Participate in donor meetings to facilitate the development of new partnerships.
- Support in the design of marketing and communication materials for business. Carry out administrative and operational tasks related to partnership-building activities, including budget oversight, reporting, and coordination with Private Fundraising and Partnerships, Regional Office, National Committees and Headquarters.
Communication and Positioning
- Produce integrated communication materials to promote private sector partnerships and raise awareness of UNICEF’s work in Morocco among private sector stakeholders.
- Create content for UNICEF-owned channels and media, highlighting private sector engagement, Children’s Rights and Business Principles, and Family-Friendly Policies.
- Regularly update for Private Sector Partnership webpage with news, success stories, and case studies.
Programme management and Monitoring
- Follow up on agreements and action plans with corporate partners on a regular basis to ensure targets are met.
- Prepare timely reports and share results with relevant stakeholders.
- Support the design of the new country programme 2028-2032 with the participation and inclusion of the private sector.
