Overview of position

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and curious Knowledge Hub Intern to support the development and growth of our central Knowledge Hub on SharePoint. This role is ideal for someone passionate about data, information management, communications, and digital tools - especially within the humanitarian and development sector.

You will gain hands-on experience across knowledge management, stakeholder engagement, analytics, and content curation. As part of CTG’s 70-20-10 internship programme, you will learn through real project work, mentorship, and structured training.

Role objectives

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, organisation, and ongoing maintenance of CTG’s Knowledge Hub on SharePoint.

  • Coordinate with colleagues across HQ and field teams to encourage engagement, content updates, and knowledge sharing.

  • Curate and quality-check submissions to ensure relevance, structure, and accuracy.

  • Produce weekly summaries on new content, innovations, and trends.

  • Provide Knowledge Hub insights for bids, reports, and other client-facing materials.

  • Collaborate with the Communications/Marketing team to integrate knowledge outputs into CTG briefings and campaigns.

  • Explore the use of AI and other technologies to improve accessibility and user experience.

  • Help track usage, engagement, and content metrics for reporting

Project reporting

This intern will report into the Head of Content but will be actively collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organisation.

Key competencies

Required Qualifications (Mandatory)

  • Recent graduate (within the last year) or final-year student iData Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligenc, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with diverse teams.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Familiarity with information or data management systems.

  • Interest in humanitarian or development work.

  • Experience using SharePoint or similar platforms.

Team management

This role has no team management responsibilities.
