Student Assistant Brand & Content- Corporate Design*

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year . There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. Mobile work within Germany is possible in agreement with your team. 100% mobile work is not possible. The position is remunerated with 15 Euro per hour.

The Brand & Content Team plays a key role in presenting Welthungerhilfe’s projects and impact in a visually compelling, consistent, and brand-aligned way. Through strong visual storytelling, creative design, and a clear corporate identity, we support both internal and external communication across the organization. As a student assistant in the graphics area, you will support the team in creating, editing, and managing visual materials used in campaigns, publications, social media, and internal communication channels. The goal is to produce high-quality visual assets that effectively convey our messages and strengthen our brand.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the design and further development of graphic materials (e.g., social media assets, presentations, infographics, flyers, reports)
  • Creating and preparing layouts and templates for internal and external communication formats
  • Maintaining, organizing, and structuring graphic assets in the internal Brand Portal
  • Assisting in the conceptualization and target-group-oriented development of visual communication materials
  • Contributing to the production of marketing and print materials
  • Close collaboration within the Brand & Content team as well as other teams and external service providers

Your profile

  • Enrolled student at a university or college, ideally in graphic design, communication design, media design, or a comparable field
  • Initial practical experience in graphic design or visual content is necessary
  • Confident use of Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Strong sense of design, typography, visual language, and brand aesthetics
  • Affinity and talent for illustration work are desirable
  • Structured, reliable, detail-oriented, and communicative working style
  • Interest in development cooperation and the topics of Welthungerhilfe is an asset
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
