In this context, there is a pressing need to work across the humanitarian, development, and peace nexus, providing preparedness and emergency response capacities, including cash based assistance for sudden on-set crises while improving the livelihoods of vulnerable populations to promote economic resilience while ensuring that the activity appropriately matches skilled labour supply with the existing and urgent demand for skilled workers in Lebanon and abroad, and foster community stability to facilitate an enabling environment supporting the revitalization of local economies in areas prone to inter- and intra-communal tensions, internal displacement, and irregular migration.
