We are looking for a dynamic, detail-driven Investigations Assistant to join our Ethics & Investigations team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about doing meaningful work, supporting field teams, and shaping best practices across a global organisation.
Role objectivesAs our Investigations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring fairness, accountability, and ethical conduct across CTG's global operations. You will:
Lead and Support Investigations

Manage low–medium risk performance and behavioural cases (e.g., absence, SOP breaches, performance issues)

Support senior investigators on high-risk cases involving fraud, corruption, theft, SEAH and other serious concerns

Conduct and arrange interviews with consultants and stakeholders

Maintain meticulous records, minutes, and evidence in line with internal standards
Strengthen Ethics & Accountability

Draft warning letters, termination letters, reports and templates
-
Support the creation of investigation plans and management implication reports

Track cases, identify trends and lessons learned, and contribute to prevention measures

Maintain our electronic case tracker and organised digital files
Drive Learning & Compliance

Support the Ethics Committee with administrative and project tasks

Help deliver and adapt Code of Conduct (CoC) training

Develop context-specific, field-friendly CoC materials
-
Use AI tools to deliver short, localised learning content that boosts engagement and compliance

Coordinate quarterly Case Management Focal Point calls to share best practices and build a global learning community
Enhance Reporting & Visibility

Develop dashboards, summaries and regular reports for leadership and clients

Provide country-specific compliance updates to Account Managers

Help onboard new consultants, ensuring smooth and compliant entry into CTG operations
This role reports to the Ethics and Quality Manager.

Essential Skills & Experience

Diploma in legal studies, business, international affairs, development studies or related field

Fluency in written and spoken English

Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication

High levels of discretion and professionalism

Skilled in using MS Office and online document management systems
Desirable
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
-
HR or investigations training/certification
-
2–3 years’ experience in HR, investigations or the humanitarian sector

Experience working in Africa or the Middle East
-
Arabic, French, Dari or Pashto language skills
This role has no team management responsibilities.
