SAP SD & PS Expert*

The position is to be filled by as soon as possible, with a contract duration of two years. At the end of the initial two-year contractual period, there are good prospects for conversion of the contract from a fixed-term to an open-ended employment contract. The position can also be filled with an unlimited contract duration if the employee shows an appropriate period of employment. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.
At Welthungerhilfe, we are on an exciting journey from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA , reshaping how we manage our projects, donations, and partner relations worldwide. To support this transformation, we’re looking for a motivated SAP SD & PS Expert to join our Business Solutions team within the Digital Services & Operations Unit.
In this role, you’ll contribute to building and optimizing our Donor Management (Order-to-Cash) and project management processes, working closely with experienced colleagues and external partners. You’ll gain hands-on experience in configuring and operating SAP SD and PS modules, helping us ensure that our digital systems are as effective and transparent as our mission.

Your responsibilities
- You contribute to our SAP transformation from ECC to S/4HANA, focusing on the Donor Management (Order-to-Cash) workstream and the SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Project Systems (PS) modules
- You support the analysis, documentation, and improvement of our sales and project-related processes in close collaboration with business departments and our implementation partner
- You assist in configuring SAP SD and PS functionalities and in coordination with business users and ensure smooth integration of SD and PS processes with other SAP modules, such as FI/CO, MM, HCM and Ariba
- You participate in testing, data migration, and documentation activities during the transformation phase and contribute to the coordination with external consultants and implementation partners
- You assist in preparing and conducting training sessions and help ensure that end users are confident in using the new S/4HANA processes
- After go-live, you support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SD and PS modules, as well as user support and training
- You contribute to cross-departmental collaboration and knowledge sharing within our organization
Your profile
- You have a degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- You have minimum 1 year of experience with SAP, ideally in the areas of SD (Sales & Distribution) and/or PS (Project Systems), through professional experience, internships, or training
- Good understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and project management or project accounting is an advantage
- You are eager to learn about SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud) and to develop your skills in an international, cross-functional transformation project
- You have a structured, proactive, and reliable working style, with a strong willingness to learn from colleagues and external consultants
- You enjoy working in a team and communicating with different stakeholders from business and IT
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; German is an advantage
