Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently seeking a highly qualified Human Resources and Administration Officer, to support the effective delivery of HR and administrative functions for DRC’s office in Bangkok and provide support to regional projects.
This role has an sub-hub focus and ensures compliance with DRC procedures and guidelines within the sub-hub area. This role contributes to the smooth running of the operations by following the action plans and day-to-day tasks. The role provides support and/or technical guidance to the project team based in Bangkok or associated with the regional projects.

Responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Ensure the general HR standards & procedures defined in DRC Operations Handbook are applied and compliant at all times
- Support with all phases of recruitment
- Assist Managers in elaboration of individual development plans for employees reflecting DRC vision, values and long term strategic priorities
- Prepare and update briefing/induction packages for new staff and oversee/coordinate the induction process
- Assist with the Performance & Development Process
- Draft new and renewed contracts and other personnel-related issues with special attention to compensation and benefits
- Follow up on staff leaves and absences.
- Assist with the management of staff complaints through DRC established mechanisms and ensures DRC Code of Conduct is understood and abided at all times
- Support when requested with local Health Insurance Company on all related issues & serve as the liaison with service providers on all staff health insurance issues.
- Support staff development activities including promoting the DRC Learning Catalogue.
Administration
- Assist the Support Services Manager in the management of administrative tasks
- Assist the staff on the travel arrangement
- Coordinate the organization visits for external visitors in terms of accommodation and transport
- Act as focal point for the administration of tenancy agreements & liaise with lessors
- Ensure that onboarding and exit procedures are made for all staff in coordination with and Safety Department
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to have minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in similar field, preferably with INGO in Thailand. Moreover, we also expect the following:
- University degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent professional qualification
- Some understanding of the local labor law and regulations.
- Experience and/or understanding of the admin tasks and admin support to the highly mobile project team.
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Full proficiency in Thai (writing also)
