THE ROLE

The Field Officer 1 plays a central role in implementing Children InternationaI’s Child Path Model (CPM) Scale-Up Implementation project, which supports children and youth to break the cycle of poverty. Working directly in the community, the role delivers skill-building activities, strengthens local partnerships, and connects participants to safety-net support so they can achieve key life-stage milestones and grow into confident, work-ready young adults. 

 WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Coordinate and coach Volunteer Club Facilitators to deliver high-quality sessions.
  • Administer Service Delivery Points (SDPs) and ensure seamless program delivery.
  • Implement curriculum and manage club sessions at assigned SDPs.
  • Communicate with participants and families to ensure engagement and provide referrals to safety-net services.
  • Maintain attendance records, collect sponsor relations products, feedback, and onboard new participants.
  • Uphold child safeguarding norms and organizational policies.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS

  •       Education background in a relevant field like social work, community development, education, etc.  
  •        2 years of relevant work or volunteer experience in sponsorship-based or community development organizations; a relevant university degree may substitute for work experience
  •       Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with children, youth, volunteers and colleagues.
  •       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and develop innovative solutions. 
  •       Strong verbal and written communication in the main local language and relevant local languages 
  •       Comfort using MS Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)  
  •       Demonstrated vision and commitment to supporting social service and/or humanitarian causes.

Overall Decision making and Supervision: 
• Moderately difficult decision-making requiring judgement in resolving issues. 
• General supervision.
