Responsibilities
First deliverable – A brief highlighting gaps in the existing materials and recommendations on the proposed structure for each module & proposed interactive activities and case studies for relevant modules - Deliverable by email by January -2026
Second deliverable –A brief with recommendations on module structure, interactive activities ,presentation modalities and relevant case studies. - Deliverable by email by February - 2026
Final deliverable – Submitting final materials incorporating feedback. –- Deliverable by email by March- 2026
Quality of the presentations (e.g. accuracy of results; conciseness and clarity of presentations; etc. );
Punctuality of the submission of the deliverables;
Level of adherence to the objectives;
Periodic and regular update on the progress;
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Migration Studies, Public Policy, International Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in migration management, policy development, or training program design.
Proven experience in developing and delivering training materials for government entities or international organizations.
Familiarity with migration governance frameworks, particularly in the context of Libya or the MENA region.
Strong knowledge of international migration laws, policies, and practices, including labor mobility and social inclusion.
Excellent instructional design and training facilitation skills.
Ability to conduct needs assessments and customize training content to align with specific requirements.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
Competence in creating user-friendly training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning tools.
Experience with data collection, analysis, and the use of migration-related statistics in training.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Cultural sensitivity and understanding of migration issues in fragile or conflict-affected settings.
- Fluency in English is required. Arabic is desirable
Libya, Tripoli or Tunisia, Tunis to conduct a ToT for the team (TBD).
