INTRODUCTION TO GGGI

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies. To learn more please visit about GGGI web page. 

GGGI is looking to engage a Procurement Consultant who can support the Procurement Unit remotely or in the HQ for 6 months (from 1 January till 30 June 2026) on tasks as defined below under the supervision of Head of Procurement (HoP). The Consultant shall support the Procurement Unit in duties that may include general clerical tasks, such as drafting documents and correspondence, as well as administrative jobs, including scheduling and contract management.

The Procurement Consultant shall:

• Review Terms of Reference, Scope/State of Work, specifications;

• In terms of requisitions above USD 10,000, performs the tasks from start to end in e-GPP which include creating and posting tenders as a moderator ; Drafting contracts for works, goods, services, Moderating evaluations; Negotiating with suppliers/bidders, providing technical advice and supporting all staff on procurement matters and procedures including e-GPP;

• Responsible to process for the request for direct procurement of any value, reviewing partnership agreements and agreements of any sort for which it is procurement responsibility.

• In principle, the assignment shall be made per each project/requisition above $10,000: namely the Consultant shall be responsible for all the actions until the contract is signed (so-called “A-Z approach”) once the HoP assigns her a new requisition.

• Administer and archive Procurement Files on e-Green Procurement Portal (e-GPP), and shared-drive;

• Keep tracking record of all tenders and contracts

• Perform any other administrative duties as required by the HoP

This position shall report to the HoP.

 

Deliverables and Payment schedule

For the purpose of each month salary, the Consultant shall submit time-sheet per month with a record of actions taken by her/him per each date; The Consultant shall share the result being sent to requestors/bidders/contractors always cc HoP, such as TOR, contracts, clarifications, or any other communication.

Deliverable:

• All actions taken are to be considered deliverable.

• For the purpose of salary, time sheet will serve as administrative “deliverable”.

All submitted documents must be in English, in accordance with GGGI’s formatting requirements, and stored in hard copy and digital formats.

 

Expertise required

The selected Consultant shall demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated fluency in English – in particular written English. Korean is an advantage.
  • Creativity in finding a solution to unprecedented issues within the rules and guidelines
  • Relevant IT skills; MS Office, SharePoint, Procurement System/ERP
  • Meticulous approach in handling any issues and communicating them
  • Bachelor’s degree, and 3 years of practical experience from administration, preferably in public procurement, or in an international organization, (e.g., UN, ADB, WB, IRC, Save the Children, or equivalent)
  • Specific education and/or training in procurement/public procurement is an advantage.
