THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTORATE (EXD)

The Executive Directorate (EXD) is the steward of OECD resources, on behalf of the Secretary-General.  Our focus is on people and their wellbeing; the effective and efficient management of the budget; the safety and security of staff, Delegations, visitors, and of the OECD’s data; maintaining and sustaining physical and digital infrastructure; and enabling the convening power of the OECD through conferences, meetings and events, whether virtual, physical or hybrid.  As well as providing corporate services, functions and management support to our staff and Members, we provide integrated, strategic and expert advice on corporate policies and management issues to the Secretary-General, to Council and to Standing Committees, to which we regularly report on corporate matters. We also provide compliance and risk management functions (for management areas under our purview). Ours is a fast-paced environment focused on delivering management excellence across all of our functions.

THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SERVICE (EXD/HRM)

Within the OECD’s Executive Directorate (EXD), the Human Resource Management Service (HRM) is responsible for providing stewardship of the Organisation’s human capital on behalf of the Secretary-General. Overseeing three divisions (HR Operations, the Client Services Group and the Talent Management and Analytics Group). The Talent Management and People Analytics Group (TMA) develops, implements and supports a variety of human capital and talent related projects for the Organisation’s workforce. The division oversees the OECD’s learning and development initiatives, provides data-driven solutions and people analytics, and runs several programmes aimed at ensuring the OECD attracts diverse talent from interns to senior managers.

Talent Management and Analytics (TMA) is looking for an HR Coordinator to support HR projects and initiatives under the supervision of the Strategic Projects Lead including activities related to strategic HR corporate projects, process improvement, and talent management activities.

Job Description

Main responsibilities

  • Support project communications and documentation, including drafting internal HR documents and stakeholder communications. Contribute to the development of stakeholder PowerPoint presentations to support project initiatives, as well as other materials to effectively engage stakeholders.
  • Support with the coordination of stakeholder meetings, HRM events, and training sessions. Oversee logistical arrangements including room bookings, meeting setup, and participant invitations.
  • Support with regular tracking and validation of HR data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. This includes liaising with relevant teams or individual contributors to address discrepancies and optimize data integrity.
  • Provide administrative and operational support such as managing and monitoring the shared mailbox, scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes, as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements within the scope of the strategic project(s).
  • Participate in other talent management activities and projects as required.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile

Academic Background

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communication, Education, Law, International Relations or any other relevant field of study would be an advantage.

Professional Background

  • Have previous experience in an international setting and/or in human resources would be a strong advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail is necessary for this role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to create clear, well-structured, and insightful PowerPoint presentations, would be a significant advantage.

Tools

  • Strong proficiency in the use of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Languages

  • Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and a knowledge of, or a willingness to learn, the other.
  • Strong drafting skills in English would be an asset.

  • Six-month assignment with the possibility of renewal.

Salary Information

  • Salary and conditions will depend on the experience of the selected candidate as well as on her/his status (temporary staff or official).
  • For temporary staff, salary starts at 2,770 EUR.
