Based in Brazil, the UNOPS Southern Cone Multi-Country Office (SCMCO) also oversees operations in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, supporting national priorities and development goals across the subregion. O Assistente Administrativo de Infraestrutura apoia a gestão e o acompanhamento das atividades de infraestrutura executadas por parceiros implementadores e contratados. A função é responsável por prestar suporte administrativo às atividades diárias relacionadas a planejamento, obras, design, construção e processos de procurement, contribuindo para que os projetos sejam executados dentro dos prazos, do orçamento e dos padrões de qualidade estabelecidos.

O Assistente Administrativo de Infraestrutura apoia a aplicação de boas práticas administrativas e operacionais ao longo de todo o ciclo do projeto — desde o planejamento até a entrega — assegurando o cumprimento dos procedimentos internos, bem como a conformidade com os padrões de Saúde, Segurança, Social e Ambiental (HSSE) e com os requisitos de Proteção contra Exploração, Abuso e Assédio Sexual (PSEAH).

O titular da função também demonstra forte capacidade organizacional, atenção aos detalhes, gestão eficiente de documentos e informações, além de apoiar a transparência, a integridade e a coordenação eficaz entre as diferentes partes interessadas envolvidas nas atividades de infraestrutura.

The Infrastructure Administrative Assistant supports the management and monitoring of infrastructure activities carried out by implementing partners and contractors. The role is responsible for providing administrative support to daily activities related to planning, works, design, construction, and procurement processes, contributing to ensuring that projects are executed within deadlines, budget, and established quality standards.

The Infrastructure Administrative Assistant supports the application of good administrative and operational practices throughout the entire project cycle — from planning to delivery — ensuring compliance with internal procedures, as well as conformity with Health, Safety, Social and Environmental (HSSE) standards and with the requirements for Protection against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH).

The role holder also demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, efficient document and information management, and supports transparency, integrity, and effective coordination among the different stakeholders involved in infrastructure activities.



Functions / Key Results Expected

A/O Assistente Administrativo trabalha em estreita colaboração com a Gerência de Projetos e a equipe de Projetos, para desempenhar as funções-chave abaixo:

  • Apoiar a gestão de projetos e gestão de processos do BRPC;

  • Apoiar na elaboração de documentos oficiais do Projeto (termos de referência, despachos, termos de cooperação, outros);

  • Alertar sobre qualquer desvio ou descumprimento de prazos;

  • Apoio à estruturação e desenvolvimento de apresentações para reuniões técnicas, treinamentos e outras ações junto a parceiros;

  • Apoio no acompanhamento orçamentário, financeiro e administrativo de projetos (quando for necessário);

  • Suporte na implementação de estratégias e procedimentos operativos necessários aos Projetos;

  • Apoio no cumprimento de todos os processos e registros administrativos de acordo com as normas, regulamentos, políticas e estratégias do UNOPS;

  • Suporte técnico às atividades ao PMO na gestão dos projetos;

  • Suporte na auditoria de atividades de projetos;

  • Apoiar a revisão técnica de sua área de especialização para alertar sobre possíveis lacunas no projeto e oportunidades de melhoria.

  • Monitorar a documentação técnica e assegurar que todos os estudos técnicos do projeto estejam disponíveis.

  • Manter o arquivo dos procedimentos executados, os relatórios recebidos e elaborados, os produzidos e, em geral, toda a documentação técnica relevante para o projeto.

The Administrative Assistant works closely with Project Management and the Project team to perform the following key functions:

  • Support project management and process management for BRPC;
  • Assist in the preparation of official project documents (terms of reference, dispatches, cooperation agreements, etc.);
  • Report any deviations or failures to meet deadlines;
  • Support in structuring and developing presentations for technical meetings, training sessions, and other actions with partners;
  • Support in monitoring the budgetary, financial, and administrative aspects of projects (when necessary);

  • Support in implementing strategies and operational procedures necessary for the Projects;

  • Support in complying with all administrative processes and records in accordance with UNOPS standards, regulations, policies, and strategies;

  • Technical support to the PMO in project management activities;

  • Support in auditing project activities;

  • Support the technical review of your area of expertise to highlight possible gaps in the project and opportunities for improvement.

  • Monitor technical documentation and ensure that all technical studies of the project are available.

  • Maintain the archive of executed procedures, received and prepared reports, produced reports, and, in general, all technical documentation relevant to the project.
