The People Partnership Specialist (PPS), Global Talent Acquisition Specialist, plays a significant role in building a highly skilled, data-informed firm that delivers exceptional, strategic, and impact-driven professional services to Smarter Good’s global clients. As both a strategic recruiter and a data-driven process owner, the PPS leads efforts to fill senior and hard-to-fill roles, especially those requiring specialized expertise, while transforming raw people data into secure, actionable insights.
Working within a small, agile team, the PPS blends talent acquisition, people analytics, and compliance leadership to ensure that the People Partnership Team (PPT) is equipped with the right talent and intelligence to thrive. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior and niche roles, including those requiring accounting or technical expertise
- Design and execute sourcing strategies that improve candidate quality, reduce time-to-hire, and reflect values-based and skills-based hiring practices
- Partner with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to anticipate workforce needs and close capacity gaps
- Facilitate inclusive, psychologically safe hiring processes that honor candidate voice and experience
- Apply critical thinking to assess role requirements, surface transferable skills, and challenge assumptions in candidate evaluation
People Analytics & Insight
- Build and maintain executive-level dashboards (e.g., turnover, DEI, compensation equity)
- Translate complex data into strategic recommendations that inform workforce planning and leadership decisions
- Provide clear, written analysis that supports inclusive, equitable, and relational talent practices
- Support data literacy across the team by making insights accessible to non-expert audiences
- Use AI-powered tools and automation to enhance data analysis, storytelling, and reporting efficiency
Recruitment Tech & Process Optimization
- Audit and improve recruitment workflows for speed, quality, and candidate experience
- Leverage ATS, sourcing platforms, and AI-enabled tools to streamline hiring and enhance visibility
- Identify and implement process improvements that align with team capacity, compliance, and values
- Lead iterative improvements and change management efforts across talent systems
- Work independently to troubleshoot recruitment bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions
Technology & Compliance Leadership
- Act as the People Data Steward, ensuring compliance with global and local data privacy regulations
- Establish secure access protocols for dashboards and reports, including data masking and permission controls
- Collaborate with IT and Legal to vet new HR platforms, assessing data security, integration standards, and ethical use
- Model responsible data stewardship and advocate for transparency in people data practices
- Apply problem-solving skills to navigate complex compliance scenarios and mitigate risk
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, or HR Operations
- Proven ability to recruit for senior and specialized roles with strategic, inclusive, and skills-based sourcing techniques
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI), advanced spreadsheet modeling, and AI-enhanced analytics platforms
- Demonstrated experience managing data privacy and reporting security risks
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Legal, IT, and leadership teams
- Comfort working independently in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges
