JOB PURPOSE:
To deliver standard business support processes to Jalalabad AO, to facilitate effective service delivery. Under the direct supervision of Programme Associate (VAME) the incumbent will provide support and assistance to Jalalabad Field Office. To deliver a range of routine business support tasks, to ensure that staff are effectively supported.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
1. Collect, sort and disseminate correspondence, reports and other material to meet the required demands of staff to time standards.
2. Using WFP corporate programme management tool (COMET) database system and create partnership for newly signed and amended Field Level Agreement (FLA).
3. Create and amend Food Release Note – FRNs as requirement for supply chain to deliver food to Food Distribution Points.
4. Enter food and Cash Based Transfer (CBT) CP distribution reports in COMET database system
5. Make sure quality data are captured in COMET prior sending for field office management’s approval.
6. Generate food/CBT distribution and FRN reports as needed and asked by line supervisor or head of office.
7. Assiss programme in daily food and CBT distribution reports to be entered in COMET and MODA reporting systems.
8. Timely add plan and actual figures for other output indicators.
9. Act as data management focal point ensuring all active partnerships, NFRs, amendments, and other partnership, and cooperating partner report related documents are properly tracked and recorded.
10. Reconcile data between COMET, LESS and WINGS.
11. Data quality check on regular bases under the instruction of country office COMET database administrator
12. Support field monitoring team in field level activity monitoring and data collection using online platforms of MoDa/KOBO, when required.
Education, Experience, knowledge and skills:
- Completion of secondary school. Having Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Development/Humanitarian studies or relevant area would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Programme, Monitoring and Evaluation, and data management and any related fields. Previous experience working on data management, especially on COMET or MoDa, is an asset. WFP experience is desirable.
- Good analytical and data management skills and ability to take any required corrective actions.
- Ability to speak fluently in Afghanistan’s formal languages.
- Fluency in both oral and written English.
- Readiness to take on additional responsibilities when required.
