The MFO is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Finance Manager with comprehensive expertise in financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership through effective budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
- Serve as a voting member and financial advisor on the Retail Program Committee.
- Advise senior leadership at Force and Rome Headquarters on all financial matters.
- Lead the Force Finance Office team to ensure excellence in service delivery, compliance, and best business practices.
- Collaborate closely with Force management, Rome Headquarters, and offices in Cairo and Tel Aviv on both financial and management accounting.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CIMA, ICAEW, CPA, ACCA).
- Minimum of 5 years in senior financial leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP reporting and not-for-profit accounting standards.
- Extensive experience with SAP/ERP financial systems.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Commitment to teamwork in a diverse, multicultural environment.
- Prior peacekeeping, military or Middle East experience is an advantage.
A two-year renewable, accompanied-status contract, including housing, meals, worldwide health insurance and recreational facilities is offered. May be eligible for tax free/tax reimbursement status. The position is based in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, within a dynamic community of approximately 1,500 military and civilian personnel representing multiple nationalities.
This is an MFO Grade 11 position with an annual salary of USD$ 138,000.
