The MFO seeks an experienced Administrative Services Manager who will supervise a two-person team, ensuring efficient management of MFO’s HQ office, operations, and equipment. He/She will manage the purchase or leasing of office supplies, equipment and furnishings, provide full-life cycle operational support to Rome-based International staff, including identification and negotiation of MFO-leased residences and registration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be the primary point of contact for the MFO travel agent and partner hotels for non-contingent civilian travel and military contingent rotations. He/She will serve as budget line manager for the department’s budget.
Experience Required
The successful candidate must have:
- A University degree in Business Administration or related field;
- 6 years of experience in administration that includes support to the following fields: facility management, business travel solutions, information technology, employment related insurance programs, and contractual liability;
- 3 years in a supervisory capacity; and
- Prior experience working in International Organizations.
He/She must also have highly developed leadership and management and excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English, strong problem-solving ability and advanced SAP skills.
Italian working papers/EU citizenship is required.
After passing probation, a permanent contract will be offered with a yearly salary of Euro €61,000.
