Purpose of the job
The Senior Business Analyst / Developer will play a key role inanalyzing, defining, and documenting business requirements and processes. The role involves supporting the business area in implementing andmaintainingbusiness applications and tools,in particular FIS’Cross-Asset Trading and Riskplatform(Front Arena).Customizing packaged applications, and developing small to medium-sized bespoke applications, tools, and interfaces. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with the Bank’s standards for system documentation, testing, and change management, while also providing production support and contributing to the Bank’s IT strategy.

Work in a specialised team supportingTreasuryfront office products, gaining exposure tocutting-edgefinancial technology.
Work directly with the Treasury Front Office to optimise and exploit technologyto improve integration,resilience and improvetime to market for new Treasury initiatives and products.
Take a leading role in implementing the Treasury Trading Systems Product roadmap,collaborating with Banking Technology counterparts.
Assistwith the development ofTreasury Systemstest automationinitiative.
Contribute totheBankingTechnology strategy and play a key part in the ongoing modernisation ofTreasuryfront office systems.
Principal Accountabilities:
Analyse business processes and document requirements to support the automation of operational procedures.
Customise packaged business applicationsin particular Front Arenaand develop bespoke small to medium-sized departmental tools, interfaces, and web-based services.
Provide production support for business applications, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s standards for system documentation, version control, testing, and change management.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure systems design, integration, and change management align with organisational standards.
Stay informed on major technology trends relevant to the business area and contribute input to the banking technology strategy.
Support departmental tools and applications, including those developed internally or supplied by external providers, ensuring their effective use and maintenance.
Liaise with external suppliers,participatein negotiations, and define terms for service provision.
Lead or contribute to project teams, ensuringobjectivesare met while coaching and training other team members as needed.
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
University-level degree in information management or computer science, or the equivalent gained through professional experience.
Excellent programming skills in one or more globally recognised programming or scripting languages(preferably Python).
Strong knowledge of financial instrumentsandtheir integration into Treasury and RiskManagement framework.
Solid understanding of business processes related to trading,Risk, BackOffice, records management,settlementsandfinancial messaging.
A hands-on, practical approach withstrong communicationand interpersonal skills to engage with staff across all levels of the organisation.
Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile principles.
Strong understanding of source control management, automated testing, and deployment practices.
Ability to explore domains beyond current areas of expertise and write clear system and user documentation in English.
