2026 Graduate Internship Programme - Contact Management

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is looking for recent graduates to join our 2026 Graduate Internship Programme. This programme will allow you to use the knowledge you gained during your studies in a professional environment. Programme duration: 7 – 11 months
Programme location: Basel, Switzerland
Programme start date: From May 2026 onwards

Purpose of the role:

The Graduate will support the initiative to unify the contact management strategy and processes within the BIS. This includes contributing to the centralisation and standardisation of contact management processes across units, ensuring consistency and accuracy in client contact data, and fostering collaboration between stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A background in CRM systems, data management, and process improvement will be advantageous, alongside a willingness to learn and contribute to cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact Data Management: Ensure accurate and high-quality contact data in CRM (MS Dynamics) through clean-up, deduplication, and analysis. Generate reports on data usage and quality issues.
  • Process Standardisation: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop centralised and standardised contact management processes. Prepare materials to promote new processes and tools.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with units to address contact management needs and challenges, supporting collaboration and adoption of improved processes.
  • Strategic Support: Provide input for the creation of a future Contact Management Coordinator/Specialist role to ensure long-term process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Recent graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with CRM systems (MS Dynamics), data management principles, and Excel/reporting tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to new tools and processes.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of contact management best practices and familiarity with financial services is a plus.

What we offer:

We offer a 7-month contract with a monthly allowance of 3800 CHF plus health and accident insurance coverage for the duration of the contract. Additional benefits depend on your principal domicile.
