55 minutes session, for the Staff Counsellors Office, comprising of two Staff Counsellors and a Staff Welfare Assistant. Approximate number of sessions per year is: 36 sessions. The fees are up to a maximum of 160 CHF per session.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position is located in the Staff Counsellors Office (SCO), Human Resources Management Service, Division of Administration, United Nations Office at Geneva. Supervision in the counselling context ensures good quality of care, maintains competent practice and supports the counsellors’ responsibilities towards the client. It is mandatory for psychosocial practitioners. Qualifications/special skills

Master's degree or higher in counselling psychology or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Certificate in professional supervision is required. A minimum of 15 years of experience in counselling psychology or related field is required. Experience working within the United Nations Secretariat is desirable.

Languages

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French is desirable.
