Organizational Setting

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has reinforced its presence in Ukraine by signing an agreement with the Government to set up a Project Office that will facilitate and expand the provision of technical and humanitarian assistance to the country’s most vulnerable communities, especially in rural areas.

Within project GCP/UKR/021/EC, FAO will support the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and other relevant stakeholders in enhancing data analytics, automation of reporting, and integration of datasets to increase transparency, efficiency, and accessibility of information for farmers, government institutions, and development partners.

The initiative will focus on developing reporting architecture, automating data processing and validation, and providing analytical support to strengthen evidence-based decision making. A special emphasis will be placed on the GSA module of the State Agrarian Register (SAR), which is critical for spatial accuracy, land parcel monitoring, and alignment with EU CAP/IACS requirements.

To this end, the project is seeking a Data Analyst who will support the design and implementation of data management and reporting solutions, ensure proper validation and processing of datasets, and contribute to the development of user-friendly analytical tools within the SAR, particularly within the GSA module.

The assignment will be home-based, with work being executed during the FAO Ukraine office hours.
