    Purpose of the Position:

    The purpose of this role is to support UNICC’s events management, communications, stakeholder engagement and reporting. Objectives include planning and executing high-profile events, producing external communications materials that advance UNICC’s visibility, and ensuring timely and compliant reporting. The role also supports leadership engagements and cultivates partnerships within International Geneva and beyond.

    Objectives of the Programme:

    The objective of the Centre is to provide trusted ICT services and digital business solutions to its Clients and Partner Organizations.

    Main duties and responsibilities:

    The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Chief of Staff and Chief, External Relations and Strategic Partnerships Section (DOE) within the Director’s Office and in close collaboration with the External Relations team. The incumbent could be requested to do any other tasks of similar level in related fields.

    • Support the conceptualization, planning, and execution of meetings and events, primarily in Geneva
    • Prepare draft concept notes, agendas, briefing materials, and coordinate logistical and technical arrangements for events
    • Facilitate post-event follow-up, including lessons learned and dissemination of outcomes
    • Draft and edit external communication materials, including blogs, articles, reports, and outreach products
    • Support the Director’s external engagements through speeches, talking points, and briefing notes
    • Serve as liaison with external stakeholders, identifying partnership opportunities and strengthening collaborations, particularly within International Geneva
    • Monitor reporting calendars and coordinate with relevant focal points to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submissions to Member State partners
    • Draft and consolidate narrative reports, maintaining proper archiving of agreements, amendments, and related documentation
    • Serve as Gender Focal Point for the Geneva Office, integrating gender perspectives into projects, events, and communications, and coordinating UN-SWAP reporting
    • Other: Provide other ad hoc support either within the team or in other teams as required – this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part-time or full time basis upon request from the senior management

    Experience and Skills required:

    Essential:

    • Two (2) years of experience in events management, communications, social media or related field
    • Previous experience in events management in an organizational setting
    • Previous record of cross-functional collaboration among peers and high-profile stakeholders

    Compensation:

    Annual Salary Estimation (net of tax at single rate):

    • Geneva (Switzerland), including post adjustment (86.8% on January 2026): US$ 104,693
