Werkstudent*in Internal Audit* 

in Bonn

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. Mobile work within Germany is possible in agreement with your team. 100% mobile work is not possible. The position is remunerated with 15 Euro per hour.

As a working student, you will support our Internal Audit department with administrative, analytical, and digital tasks, gaining in-depth insight into the audit work of an internationally operating NGO. Collaboration takes place in a hybrid and cross-location work environment with diverse interfaces across the organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Support in the analysis, evaluation, design, and implementation of business processes as well as process and application controls

  • Independently conduct research and analysis tasks related to various business processes

  • Prepare and analyze reports, including data analyses and visualizations

  • Present findings in PowerPoint presentations for management and the Audit Committee

  • Support in the area of data analytics and AI applications, e.g., developing use cases and automating evaluations

  • Contribute to the creation of training materials and modern communication formats (e.g., visuals, short podcasts)

  • Maintain the Internal Audit blog and the department’s intranet page (SharePoint/Yammer)

  • Support collaboration and knowledge sharing via MS Teams

  • Provide organizational support, e.g., travel planning and administrative tasks

Your profile

  • You are a student currently enrolled at a university or college

  • You have at least one year remaining in your studies

  • You are studying, for example, computer science, (business) mathematics, business administration/economics, law, or a comparable field

  • You have very good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment, especially Excel and PowerPoint (ideally also SharePoint/Yammer/MS Teams)

  • You are interested in Internal Audit, governance, and organizational processes

  • Ideally, you have strong knowledge in data analysis and AI tools and enjoy contributing new ideas

  • You work in a structured, reliable manner and show a high level of initiative

  • You enjoy working in an intercultural environment and have an open-minded personality

  • You have very good written and spoken English skills
