Resource Development and Mobilization Unit Manager

Background In a context of high competitiveness for cooperation funds and shifting funding priorities at both national and international levels, the organization needs to structure and consolidate the Resource Development and Mobilization Unit. The goal is to strengthen its financial sustainability, diversify funding sources, and solidify strategic relationships with donors.

I. Position Objective To design, implement, and lead the institutional fundraising strategy, ensuring financial sustainability through the diversification of sources, the formulation of high-quality proposals, and comprehensive donor management.

II. Academic Background Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Health, International Relations, Political Science, Administration, Gender Studies, or related fields.

III. Requirements

Professional Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in fundraising, international cooperation, or project management.

  • Experience in proposal development and consortium coordination.

  • Experience in establishing or strengthening fundraising departments.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory; otherwise, please refrain from applying.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • Commitment to and knowledge of SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights), abortion, and gender equality.

  • Proficiency in project formulation methodologies (Logical Framework, Theory of Change).

  • Excellent technical proposal writing skills.

  • Advanced English is indispensable.

IV. Activities

  • Design and structure the Resource Mobilization Unit.

  • Prepare the Annual Strategic Resource Mobilization Plan.

  • Map and analyze national and international funding opportunities.

  • Lead the development of proposals and concept notes.

  • Implement a donor management and tracking system.

  • Develop the full donor management cycle (identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship).

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure quality and consistency in processes.

  • Represent the organization before donors and strategic partners.

V. Deliverables

  • Fully operational Resource Development and Mobilization Unit.

  • Annual fundraising plan.

  • Updated prospect database and cultivation plan.

  • Institutional calendar of open calls/grants.

  • Periodic monitoring reports.

  • Proposals submitted to donors.
