Who are we?
You will join the People & Organization (P&O) department, a central enabling function that partners with the organization to strengthen DRC’s strategy execution, ways of working, and overall effectiveness.
About the job
As we embark on our new strategic period, we are strengthening how we drive organizational effectiveness and increase our impact on the people we serve. As Organizational Development Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and coordinating DRC’s portfolio of organizational development initiatives, ensuring senior leadership has clear visibility, priorities stay focused and initiatives move forward in a coordinated way.
You will take ownership of finalizing and driving the Organizational Development Plan, a key enabler of Strategy 2030. The plan brings together critical enablers required for the success of our next strategy, as well as foundational elements that strengthen how the organization performs. You will ensure strong prioritization, oversight, and momentum across the portfolio while the project leads to drive delivery of individual initiatives.
More specifically, you will:
- Finalize the and continuously drive initiatives in the Organizational Development Plan as a core enabler of Strategy 2030.
- Maintain a live portfolio overview of major organizational development initiatives.
- Provide regular, high-quality updates and insights to the Executive Management Team.
- Facilitate EMT prioritization and intake of new organizational initiatives.
- Analyze interdependencies, risks, and resource implications across the portfolio.
- Support OD Plan project leads with structure, governance, and planning.
- Promote consistent use of workstream methodologies, RA(S)CI frameworks, and governance standards.
- Establish and maintain clear measures of success and impact for the Organizational Development Plan
About you
You bring strong experience in organizational development, complex change and strategic execution. You work confidently with senior stakeholders and connect multiple moving pieces into a coherent organizational picture. You are comfortable working in an environment that continues to evolve and where priorities can shift.

Moreover, we also expect the following:
Required
- 5+ years’ experience leading organizational development or transformation initiatives.
- Experience coordinating strategic initiative portfolios.
- Experience working closely with Executive/C-level teams.
- Expertise in change methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci, Kotter).
- Strong organizational design and governance skills.
- Advanced project, programme, and portfolio management experience.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience working in complex global organizations.
Desirable
- Experience from the humanitarian/development sector.
- Consulting or organizational development background.
- Experience with MS Teams, SharePoint, Miro, Asana, Smartsheet.
- Working proficiency in French.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and the relevant union organization (senior consultant level/chefkonsulent). This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
