Under the supervision of the Chief of Country Office, the role sustains the operational integrity, credibility and continuity of Registry functions in the field. Positioned at the intersection of administration, logistics, finance, human resources and operational coordination, the incumbent ensures that activities are delivered effectively, in compliance with the Court’s regulatory framework, and in a manner that safeguards institutional discipline and neutrality.

Within a lean, multidisciplinary field structure, the incumbent acts as the principal operational enabler of the Country Office, exercising initiative and adaptability to resolve challenges and prevent procedural bottlenecks. The role requires close coordination with Headquarters, local stakeholders, vendors and other Country Offices to ensure procurement, treasury, HR and contract management processes function smoothly, and includes assuming broader coordination responsibilities — including acting as Officer-in-Charge in the absence of the Representative and Chief of Country Office — to ensure continuity of leadership and appropriate representation.
