To keep pace with growth we are looking for an HR Advisor.
The position is a position with 37.5 h/week.
This position is only filled locally. With contractual conditions of Ethiopia. An expatriation is not intended.

These are your responsibilities
- As an HR generalist give support and advice to our employees and line managers in the area of responsibility, aligned with the processes, in all personnel and labor law issues along the entire employee and position life cycle.
- Responsibility for the operational outcome in close cooperation with the Global HR Business Partner.
- Take responsibility for specific HR tasks within the HR team, based on individual skills and expertise.
- Take process ownership: develop and optimize HR processes and their digitalization, including regular maintenance and quality assurance.
- Ensure the highest data quality in our HR systems.
- Manage and contribute to HR projects and activities.
- Maintain alignment with the required capacity support to countries, based on agreed needs and provide the relevant and timely services.
- Strengthen cooperation within the entire HR community.
- Manage external service providers in the respective area of expertise.
- Engage in continuous professional development and networking to keep up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in HR to improve organizational requirements.
These are your qualifications
- Degree with a focus on human resources or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experiences in Human Resources in an internationally acting company or NPO / NGO.
- Experience in office administration is of added advantage.
- Knowledge of all aspects of local labour laws. Understanding of international labour laws is an advantage.
- Digital mindset and open for change.
- Continuously looking for improvement and efficiency.
- Independent, structured and conscientious way of working.
- Open for intercultural environments.
- Professional proficiency in English and local official language.
- Adhere to CBM’s Code of Conduct.
- Identification with the Christian values and mission of CBM.
