Contract duration

Under the overall supervision of the Regional Director, direct supervision of the Regional Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (RPMEO), and in close coordination with the Senior Regional Liaison and Policy Officer (RLPO), the Intern will assist in the planning, coordination, and logistical organization of activities related to the work of the unit; including support to roll-out of relevant policy initiatives on migration (IOM Policy Agenda, Global Compact for Migration, Sustainable Development Goals, and others), support in the organization of events and workshops, and support with administrative tasks related to engagement with Country Offices on different results-based management activities overseen by the Regional Office.

Eligibility and Selection:

In general, the Internship Programme aims at attracting students and graduates who: 

a) are in their undergraduate or postgraduate studies at the University of Westminster (except those in their first year of undergraduate studies)

b) have an interest in, or whose studies have covered, areas relevant to IOM programmes and activities;
