Your team
Your role
- design, configure and improve workflows and automation solutions for services such as DARWIN (OpenText Content Management), ECB Wiki (Confluence) and their integrations with services like M365, SAP, DocuSign and in-house applications;
- analyse, re-engineer and optimise knowledge and information processes with business stakeholders, leveraging workflow automation, metadata models and integration tools to enhance efficiency and compliance;
- support the design and rollout of AI-enabled capabilities (e.g. semantic search, content enrichment, intelligent automation and AI-assisted knowledge services) aligned with the DARWIN roadmap and the ECB’s digital strategy;
- support the functional and operational management of key systems, like DARWIN, including business continuity arrangements;
- assist with application management, such as maintaining and enhancing test frameworks, developing test automation, supporting application-to-application integration frameworks and ensuring solution quality throughout the life cycle;
- contribute to Business Implementation Groups to shape knowledge, collaboration and AI-enabled services;
- monitor emerging technologies, including AI and low-code tools, develop prototypes and enhance knowledge management services;
- support the DARWIN service manager and coordinate with a range of internal stakeholders, including senior management, on service delivery, such as service level agreements and operational performance monitoring.
Qualifications, experience and skills
- a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, information management systems, information science, archives, records management, library services, knowledge management, or another relevant field (see How you can join us for details on degree equivalences);
- in addition to the above, a minimum of two years’ experience in information and/or knowledge management, including delivering and supporting digital solutions in a corporate or institutional environment;
- sound practical experience with OpenText Content Management (in particular Content Server and/or xECM), including configuration and development of workflows and reporting solutions (e.g. LiveReports, WebReports);
- experience in business analysis, including gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications;
- a good understanding of IT service management processes (e.g. incident, change, release management) and familiarity with tools like Jira or SMAX;
- strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and collaborate effectively;
- an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- familiarity with AI-enabled content management or knowledge discovery tools.
- experience in solution testing and quality assurance, including exposure to test automation and basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL;
- exposure to process automation, system integrations or low-code/no-code platforms;
- knowledge of core web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy).
