Why NRC?

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organisation helping people forced to flee. Our 15,000 staff work in crises across 40 countries, providing life-saving and long-term assistance to millions of people every year.

Watch this short video to see NRC in action.

We contribute to the development of policy aiming to protect the rights of the displaced and we call for increased humanitarian funding and engagement on processes that will generate structural changes in protection and assistance in the region.

The NRC mission in North of Central America and Mexico (NCA&M) has been operating in Honduras and El Salvador since 2018 and, in recent years, expanded its presence with new areas in Mexico and Guatemala, providing Education, Protection and Livelihood services. Over the past year, the organisation has undergone a significant restructuring process, which includes a gradual reduction leading to Guatemala by the end 2025 and plans the closure of El Salvador in 2026. These structural adjustments reflect shifts in context, programmatic priorities, and available funding levels.

The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring the integration and standardization of logistics processes for NCA&M, aligning operations with regional strategic goals and NRC objectives, including the supply chain management structure and the recruitment of new staff. He or she is also responsible for ensuring compliance with NRC and donor standards and their adaptation to the context of each office's field operations. He or she is technically responsible for procurement, fleet management, warehouses, transportation, assets, insurance, and the evaluation of supply chain management in the implementation of the NRC program in all areas.

We are looking for people who are passionate about helping refugees and people forced to flee. Are you one of those people? If you are, NRC offers you the opportunity to:

  • do demanding and professional work, often in challenging contexts.

  • join a work culture that empowers every employee to share ideas and take responsibility.

  • be part of a welcoming and supportive community committed to human dignity.
