The overall objective of the NRC Jordan Youth Programme is to ensure that Youth become and remain active and engaged members of their communities, while employing a Do No Harm lens in terms of programme assessment and implementation.
NRC will provide access to structured learning and social engagement opportunities for Syrian and Jordanian youth. Opportunities will vary according to the diverse educational needs of the youth population in and out of camps, taking into consideration sensitivities of engaging youth and linking where possible and appropriate to opportunities to enter the formal workforce, return to education, pursue higher education and/or for personal, professional and social development.
The Youth Officer is responsible for the daily supervision, planning and implementation of NRC Youth Programme at field level, Incentive based volunteers (IBVs) management, and liaising with stakeholders as delegated.
