Context
UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security.
UN Women Country Office (CO) is based in Astana, Kazakhstan aims to support to the Government and civil society organizations in the development and implementation of innovative approaches aimed at achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment, specifically targeting increasing women’s political participation and leadership, securing women’s economic rights, strengthening women's involvement in peace building, ending violence against women and a making government budgets and policies more responsive to women's needs.
The Associate on partnership building works with and provides support to the Head of Office in mapping priorities, proposal development, and donor communications to help secure financial resources.

Task description
Under the direct supervision of the Head of Office, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:
- Work across teams (local, regional, HQ) to help identify and source content (photos / videos / human interest stories / agreed price points) to be used in digital fundraising campaigns;
- Map and identify development partners priorities on GV;
- Develop concept notes and partnership proposals in line with UN Women strategic plan and strategic note of Kazakhstan;
- Ensure high quality timely donor reporting;
- Maintain donor databases and track fundraising activities;
- Coordinate communication with donors and stakeholders;
- Assist in monitoring fundraising targets and timelines;
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Head of Office;
- Prepare presentation material/slides in Power-point for presentations for the meet-ings/workshops and keep all papers ready for meetings.
