  About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Finance Officer, fluent in both English and French, to support and strengthen our financial operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing efficient financial systems that enhance business performance and ensure seamless service delivery across business units. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and administrative tasks, while maintaining and updating reliable accounting records to uphold the integrity of financial management information systems.

This position is only filled locally. With contractual conditions of the respective country. An expatriation is not intended.

These are your responsibilities

  •  Develop and implement a robust financial operations model to enhance business performance and ensure seamless service delivery across business units.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete processing of financial transactions and administrative tasks within financial operations.
  • Maintain and update accounting records to ensure the reliability and integrity of financial management information systems.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial accounting practices to enhance business performance and ensure seamless service delivery across business units.
  •  Ensure timely, accurate, and complete processing of financial transactions and related administrative tasks within the assigned business unit.
  • Support the smooth running of financial operations in close collaboration with the Team Manager, Financial Operations – Shared Services Center.
  • Maintain and regularly update accounting records to ensure the reliability and integrity of financial management information systems at the country office level.
 

These are your qualifications

  •   Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and Management
  •   Professional qualifications in accounting an advantage (CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proficiency in both French and English
  •   A minimum of 5 years’ work experience in similar field, particularly with international NGOs or international development organization.
  •  Acts according to business model  
  •  Customer oriented working  
  • Ready to learn and solution oriented 
  • Captures data fast and accurate  
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
