Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

The Project Analyst is assigned to the Trade and Supply Chain Division (TSCD) within the Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

You will report to the designated International Staff and/or senior Officer and work closely with the Portfolio Management team (PMT) supporting the Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program (TSCFP).

Your Role

As Project Analyst, you will provide analytical, operational, and coordination support to TSCFP portfolio management and reporting, acting as a deputy portfolio manager-type support resource to facilitate day-to-day portfolio monitoring and internal coordination.

You will:

  • Support portfolio analytics, monitoring, and preparation of dashboards, analysis, and presentations.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports on exposures, utilization, risk transfers, profit and loss, and development impact indicators.
  • Support the TSCD in day-to-day portfolio monitoring, including client limits, headroom, and portfolio composition.
  • Coordinate with front, middle, and back office teams to support transaction tracking, reconciliation, and follow-up.
  • Assist in administering and monitoring risk participation, risk transfer, and cofinancing arrangements.
  • Maintain portfolio trackers and supporting documentation to ensure data quality for reporting, audits, and reviews.
  • Support system enhancements and automation initiatives through testing and documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating TSCD inputs for corporate and internal reporting exercises.

Qualifications

You will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in portfolio analysis, trade finance, financial operations, or project support.
  • Strong analytical and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based, multi-stakeholder environment.

Additional Information

This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.

This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial fixed period of 3 years. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may, at the option of ADB, be extended once for up to 2 years, converted to a regular appointment, or ended on its expiration date. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB that: (a) it will require Staff's particular blend of skills and experience in the foreseeable future; and (b) Staff's performance is satisfactory and they are suitable for further employment.
