Contexto y alcance del proyecto

El proyecto “Garantizará asistencia en salud para migrantes, refugiados y comunidades de acogida en las zonas fronterizas de Ecuador”, implementado por la Organización Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM) con financiamiento de la República de Corea, tiene como objetivo mejorar el acceso a asistencia multisectorial y servicios de protección en los corredores fronterizos del país.


La consultoría en salud desempeñará un rol clave en asegurar la atención directa a población migrante y en riesgo, para derivaciones en salud, así como en fortalecer la articulación con organismos como ADRA HOPE, centros de salud pública, y privadas, para brindar las atenciones necesarias en salud.
 

Departamento/unidad de la Organización a que presta servicios el consultor/la consultora:

La consultoría será realizada en la Sub-Oficinas de la OIM en Lago Agrio, bajo la supervisión de la Coordinadora de Territorio y en coordinación con la Jefatura del área de salud.

Responsibilities

Tareas por desempeñar en el marco del presente contrato:
1.    Asegurar la coordinación eficiente con los actores locales para proporcionar atención médica y organizar brigadas para poblaciones en situaciones de movilidad.
2.    Operaciones diarias en las suboficinas para coordinar derivaciones médicas para la población atendida.
3.    Asegurar la identificación adecuada, evaluación médica y registrar toda la información de salud relevante en formularios estándar; garantizando la integridad y precisión de la información registrada.
4.    Brindar apoyo a las actividades de VIH y consejería. 
5.    Supervisar y coordinar la gestión de casos de TB para asegurar un tratamiento eficaz de la tuberculosis en coordinación con el Ministerio de Salud.
6.  Supervisar  y  coordinar  la  prestación  precisa  y  eficaz  de  tratamiento  presuntivo.
7. Realizar otras tareas relacionadas que se le asignen.​ 
 
Indicadores de desempeño para la evaluación de los resultados
  • El seguimiento y la aprobación de los productos de la consultoría serán realizados por la Coordinadora de Territorios en coordinación con la Jefatura del área de Salud.

  • 100% del cumplimiento de las actividades.

Qualifications

Formación, experiencia o competencias requeridas

a)    Título universitario en trabajo social, psicología, enfermería, medicina o áreas afines.[MZ1.1]
b)    Mínimo tres (3) años de experiencia profesional en gestión de casos
c)    Experiencia en atención a población migrante o refugiada.
d)    Habilidades para la coordinación interinstitucional, redacción técnica, análisis de información sensible, comunicación intercultural y trabajo en entornos de alta demanda.
 

Presupuesto referencial

  • El presupuesto referencial de esta consultoría es de USD. 1,900.00 mensuales más IVA, contra entrega de informes de cumplimiento de actividades, y respaldos correspondientes.

Viajes necesarios

  • Si, se realizarán viajes a las distintas localidades donde la OIM tiene presencia, y a otras donde el desarrollo del proyecto lo requiera. Este rubro será cubierto por la Organización.

Lenguaje

Para esta consultoría el idioma requerido es español. Ingles será una ventaja.

Notes

IOM covers Consultants against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the consultancy. IOM does not provide evacuation or medical insurance for reasons related to non-occupational accidents and illnesses. Consultants are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness and will be required to provide written proof of such coverage before commencing work. 

Any offer made to the candidate in relation to this vacancy notice is subject to funding confirmation.
