OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENT
Based in Jakarta, Indonesia, the Finance and Operation Consultant will support the Finance and Corporate Services (FCS) team of the GGGI Indonesia Country Office in delivering finance, accounting, and operational activities, in line with the requirements, rules, and systems established by GGGI and its donors. The Consultant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial functions, including bookkeeping and compliance activities.
Working closely with the Finance and Operations Officer and the wider FCS team, the Consultant will assist in the implementation of financial and corporate service-related tasks to ensure smooth and effective delivery of GGGI Indonesia’s operations. The consultant will also be granted access to the ERP system of GGGI. Responsibilities will include the execution and documentation of financial transactions and ensuring appropriate financial coding and record-keeping.
OUTPUT/DELIVERABLES
- Petty Cash Management: Custodian Petty Cash Jakarta Office, preparing the petty cash transactions and disbursement. Prepare timely petty cash reconciliation (monthly)
- Invoice Registration: Focal person for the invoice registration process in the ERP.
- Asset Verification & Documentation: Conduct regular physical asset verifications across all locations to ensure accurate tracking and proper documentation in the asset register.
- New Office Management: Support an up-to-date new office facilities
- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate financial records and organize supporting documents to ensure readiness for audits and compliance with internal policies.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, and regulatory requirements to maintain financial integrity.
EXPERTISE REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration or a related field.
- Experience in international organizations is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, project support, and administrative tasks is beneficial.
- Experience in the procurement process for goods and services.
- Proficiency in both Indonesian and English is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Consultancy fees:
The Consultant will be paid a daily rate of USD 50 per day (based on an 8-hour working day) for a total of 216 working days during the Term when the Contractor provides the Services. If the Consultant provides the Services for less than the required hours on any day, then fees for that day will be reduced proportionally.

Notes)
- The Consultant is to provide his/her own equipment to produce all deliverables.
- The Consultant is expected to work offline and online and is expected to work at the GGGI Indonesia office at least three days a week.
- The Consultant shall submit any deliverables in electronic versions readable by a Microsoft Office application.

1) Application Submission

- A cover letter of no more than one (1) page that demonstrates how the candidate’s qualifications meet the work requirements (in English);
- A curriculum vitae which, at a minimum, describes education, latest experience and career achievements related to the assignment (in English);
- Names, current and accurate contract numbers (email and phone) of three (3) professional references that have knowledge of the applicant’s abilities to perform the duties set forth in the solicitation (in English).
