We are looking for a Project Coordinator r to support the management and implementation of projects aligned with CBM’s mission in Ukraine. 
In this role, you will oversee the full project cycle, from design and implementation to monitoring, reporting, and completion ensuring programmes are delivered effectively, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with partners, internal teams, and donors to ensure high-quality, compliant, and impactful programming. 
This position is only filled locally. With contractual conditions of the respective country. An expatriation is not intended.

You Will:

Project Coordination & Quality Assurance 

  • Coordinate with partners to ensure activities are delivered according to agreed plans and timelines  
  • Provide guidance to partners on implementation challenges and track project progress  
  • Manage budget and activity change requests in coordination with relevant stakeholders  

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning 

  • Conduct monitoring visits (remote or in-person), including planning, reporting, and follow-up actions  
  • Support evaluations, including Terms of Reference development and consultant coordination  
  • Contribute to knowledge management and dissemination of lessons learned  

Reporting & Audit 

  • Review and finalise programmatic and financial reports  
  • Monitor budget and activity status, including forecasting and fund requests  
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and support audit processes  

Project Development 

  • Support the development of project concepts, proposals, and budgets  
  • Identify and assess partners, including due diligence and risk analysis  
  • Support onboarding of partners and ensure understanding of CBM and donor requirements  

Partner Capacity Building 

  • Deliver capacity strengthening support to partners  
  • Contribute to review meetings and ongoing partner engagement  

Compliance & Risk Management 

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including safeguarding, security, and operational risks  
  • Ensure partner compliance with CBM policies and donor requirements  

Project Administration (PROMIS) 

  • Maintain project data and updates in CBM’s ERP system (PROMIS)  
  • Support forecasting, reporting uploads, and system-based monitoring  

Stakeholder Coordination 

  • Ensure internal alignment with relevant teams  
  • Represent CBM with external stakeholders where required 
 

These are your qualifications

  • A degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field 
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management within NGOs, INGOs, or a similar environment  
  • Experience with EU-funded projects (preferably ECHO) or other institutional donors is an asset  
  • Understanding of disability inclusion and rights-based approaches  
  • Familiarity with the Ukrainian disability sector and Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) is an advantage  
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with logframes, monitoring tools, and planning frameworks  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate diverse stakeholders  
  • Financial and programmatic analysis and forecasting skills  
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills  
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability  
  • Experience in budget management and ensuring financial accountability  
  • Professional proficiency in Ukrainian and English  
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments  
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills  
  • Identification with the Christian values and mandate of CBM.
