ANTECEDENTES:
El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA), es el organismo de las Naciones Unidas que lucha contra el hambre y la malnutrición en todo el planeta. La visión del PMA, está centrada en un mundo en el cual cada hombre, mujer, niña y niño tenga acceso en todo momento a la alimentación necesaria para llevar una vida activa y saludable para lograr el objetivo de desarrollo sostenible Hambre Cero (ODS2), así como promover una alianza global para garantizar la sostenibilidad del bienestar de la población (ODS 17).

OBJETIVO PRINCIPAL: Apoyar la gestión operativa del Proyecto de tarjetas alimentarias PANTBC mediante la coordinación de procesos clave, el monitoreo de beneficiarios y comercios afiliados, la actualización de bases de datos, y la elaboración de reportes que faciliten una implementación eficiente y alineada a los lineamientos de WFP.

RESPONSABILIDADES: El(la) Asistente de Programas se encargará de realizar las siguientes tareas:


1. Reunir información destinada claramente a servir de base para la redacción de documentos y la preparación de informes por parte de otros miembros del personal.
2. Responder a consultas y remitirlas, cuando proceda, a los niveles superiores, con el fin de prestar un servicio oportuno y correcto a los clientes.
3. Prestar apoyo al procesamiento y gestión de tareas administrativas y financieras ordinarias en diversas esferas funcionales, para contribuir a la gestión eficaz y oportuna de los recursos.
4. En el marco de su esfera específica de responsabilidad, recopilar datos y prestar apoyo al análisis y la elaboración de informes con el fin de sostener la toma de decisiones operacionales.
5. Prestar servicios de revisión y corrección de documentos estándar, para contribuir a la elaboración de documentación exacta.
6. Encargarse del mantenimiento de los sistemas y archivos estándar establecidos para garantizar que la información sea precisa y esté fácilmente disponible para la función de que se trate.
7. Detectar discrepancias en las estadísticas y los datos, como información faltante, y comunicarlas a funcionarios de categoría superior para ayudar a los clientes a realizar su trabajo.
8. Prestar apoyo a las actividades de comunicación con los asociados, los organismos, las ONG y las instituciones públicas a nivel local.

9. Encargarse de la integridad de los datos para facilitar la disponibilidad de información precisa en los sistemas institucionales.
10. Proporcionar orientación sobre métodos y prácticas ordinarios de apoyo operativo a los colegas menos experimentados para velar por que los servicios se presten de forma coherente y de acuerdo con los requisitos establecidos.
11. Trabajar con una gran variedad de personas, recabando retroinformación, cuando proceda, para ayudar en la prestación de apoyo operativo al personal.
12. Otras tareas/actividades afines asignadas por el/la Representante.

CALIFICACIONES Y EXPERIENCIA REQUERIDA
Educación:

Finalización del ciclo de educación secundaria, deseables estudios universitarios en ciencias económicas, ingeniería, administración, finanzas, contabilidad o afines.
Experiencia:

Cuatro años como mínimo de experiencia profesional con responsabilidades cada vez mayores en la esfera operativa correspondiente, y experiencia en tareas administrativas de carácter general.

Conocimientos y Habilidades:
• Competencia en el empleo de equipo de oficina y paquetes informáticos, como Microsoft Word.
• Conocimiento de las tareas y métodos de trabajo cotidianos con el fin de finalizar los procesos con supervisión mínima.
• Tacto y cortesía para intercambiar información con una gran variedad de personas.
• Capacidad para detectar discrepancias de datos y resolver los problemas que requieren atención.
• Capacidad para ofrecer orientación o capacitación básica en el puesto de trabajo al personal subalterno.

Idiomas:

• Español nativo, inglés intermedio deseable.
