ITS Operations and Country Engagement Department (ITSOE) delivers innovative products and services to frontline staff working on over 6,000 projects throughout every Region and Global Practice. Our teams support and enable Bank priorities, boost operations efficiency and effectiveness, and facilitate Operational knowledge discovery. Our delivery model leverages global expertise, design and architecture, leading technology, and robust processes to deliver business solutions that ensure value for money.
Unit Context:
The ITS Country Engagement unit (ITSCE) provides digital support for global and country-specific products, aiding thousands of task teams and country management units in better planning, tracking, and managing their operations, thereby improving country engagement. Additionally, ITSCE enables geospatial capabilities through self-service tools and analytics, allowing teams to monitor project preparation and implementation from anywhere. 
The AI Acceleration for Regional Operations team supports country, regional, and sector teams in responding to growing demand for fast, scalable, secure, and AI-enabled digital solutions. The team advances rapid AI capability by modernizing systems to cloud-based architectures, enabling secure and scalable operations, and providing shared platforms for AI-enabled ideation, rapid prototyping, and deployment. By leveraging low-code accelerators and reusable components, AI Acceleration for Regional Operations reduces development timelines and operational constraints associated with legacy systems, enabling teams to move efficiently from concept to production while ensuring security by design, cost efficiency, predictable scaling, and responsible AI implementation.
The ITSCE unit is looking for a Product Analyst who will support the rapid delivery of tailored AI solutions for WBG Country and Regional teams. With guidance, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, assess processes, and deliver AI solutions to support strategic business objectives in line of the institutional priorities and new country engagement model. The Product Analyst also monitors key product performance indicators and supports the feedback loop, driving continuous improvement. 
Duties and accountabilities: 
• Collects, refines, and documents business requirements with a focus on rapid AI solutioning, including clear acceptance and evaluation criteria tailored to AI outputs.

• Ensures strong alignment between business needs and AI solution design, enabling high value outcomes with minimal time-to-delivery.

• Facilitates rapid prototyping, iterative testing, and accelerated rollouts—shepherding solutions from MVP to production. 

• Identifies and articulates high impact opportunities for AI intervention, prioritizing use cases that deliver fast measurable benefits.

• Captures concise, fit for purpose functional and technical specifications to support speedy development of Rapid AI Solutions. 

• Gathers and synthesizes user requirements quickly and accurately through focused interviews, design workshops, and rapid discovery sessions. 

• Supports backlog prioritization based on value, feasibility, and speed to impact, ensuring the Rapid AI pipeline remains efficient and outcomes-focused.

• Collaborates closely with business and technical stakeholders to validate AI opportunities and streamline processes for rapid adoption of AI-powered capabilities. 

• Contributes to sprint planning, refinement, and reviews, ensuring each increment supports fast-paced AI delivery goals. 

• Develops and executes lean test plans emphasizing rapid verification, model output validation, and continuous quality improvement. 

• Supports end to end testing and validation of AI systems and enhancements, ensuring outcomes are reliable, explainable, and aligned with intended business value.

Selection Criteria

• Master’s degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (for example in IT field: Bachelor’s Degree with min 1 year of related work experience.)

• Demonstrated experience in delivering AI solutions in a rapid fashion - in complex, large scale environments, with a strong understanding of practical constraints, operational realities, and deployment considerations. 

• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable, high impact AI enabled product features, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and measurable value.

• Recommended certifications: SAFe Product Owner, as well as in Machine learning foundations, Responsible AI, Data science, or similar, demonstrating up to date knowledge of modern AI practices. 

• Solid understanding of IT development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and modern delivery practices relevant to rapid AI experimentation and deployment. 

• Strong grasp of business goals and the ability to translate them into concise, outcome focused AI product requirements.

• Proven record of effective collaboration across organizational and disciplinary boundaries, demonstrating inclusiveness, respect for diverse viewpoints, and commitment to team success. 

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to cultivate productive, trust based relationships across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts in clear, accessible language. 

• Genuine passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying current with emerging technologies, particularly in the field of AI.

• Able to take personal ownership and accountability to meet deadlines and achieve agreed-upon results and has the personal organization to do so.  

• Proficiency in English.
