Role Scope
The Solutions Architect executes strategic business requirements by designing integrated technology solutions and guiding their implementation across hardware, software, data, and network systems. Working with limited supervision, this role combines business, information, and technical perspectives to create scalable, high‑level architectures aligned with enterprise principles. By evaluating functionality, constraints, and compatibility across platforms, it ensures interoperability, stability, usability, and high availability in distributed environments.
• Performs advanced-level research and analyses in the field of specialization and oversees large and/or complex projects or processes, with limited supervision.
• Proposes solutions to moderately complex problems in the field of specialization.
• Seeks common ground and negotiates issues with internal and/or external clients to recommend for higher-level approval.
• Provides knowledge-based guidance, coaching, and training to more junior staff within the job area, serving as a technical resource for other professionals.
• Requires practical application of professional knowledge at a broad-based level to complete difficult assignments.

Solutions Architecture Development
• Designs scalable architecture solutions that align with client needs and industry standards
• Develops and maintains documentation for architecture designs, processes, and standards to facilitate knowledge sharing
Architecture Analysis & Innovation
• Evaluates technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance solution performance and reliability
• Executes architectural reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational goals
• Helps monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Partners with Agile teams to identify inconsistencies in architectural design and assists the Agile Release Train with enhancements
Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into product specifications
• Supports Agile teams with implementing the architecture
Selection Criteria
• Education & Experience: Typically requires a Master's degree with 5 years of experience or a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Enterprise Architecture Design Expertise: Proven ability to design and document scalable, end-to-end technology solutions that integrate hardware, software, data, and network systems across distributed environments, with demonstrated experience translating complex business requirements into comprehensive architectural blueprints aligned with enterprise standards and industry best practices.
• Multi-Platform Integration and Interoperability: Strong technical knowledge evaluating functionality, constraints, and compatibility across diverse technology stacks and platforms, ensuring seamless integration, system stability, high availability, and optimal performance in heterogeneous IT environments.
• Strategic Technology Evaluation: Experience conducting architectural reviews and assessments of emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to recommend solutions that enhance reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness while identifying opportunities for innovation and modernization that drive competitive advantage.
• Agile Architecture Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work embedded with Agile Release Trains and cross-functional teams, participating in Program Increment planning, identifying architectural inconsistencies, and providing just-in-time design guidance that enables teams to deliver business value while maintaining architectural integrity.
• Business-Technical Translation Skills: Ability to bridge business and technology perspectives by gathering and analyzing stakeholder requirements, articulating the solutions architecture vision to both technical and non-technical audiences, and negotiating trade-offs between business needs, technical constraints, and organizational goals.
