Overview of positionSince the inception of the Client in 1951, Movement Operations have been and continue to be a fundamental pillar of the Organization’s work. The organized movement of persons in need of international migration assistance is a primary mandate of the Organization and a cornerstone of Client's operations. This mandate has resulted in the international transport of more than 15 million migrants and refugees worldwide. Movement Operations departments in various client missions, coordinated under the division of Resettlement and Movement Management (RMM) in the Department of Operations and Emergencies (DOE) at client’s Geneva Headquarters, are responsible for all aspects of travel for migrants and refugees under client’s auspices, in accordance with the various framework agreements with resettlement and receiving Governments and partners across the spectrum of the Organization's programmes.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Support the coordination and timely implementation of the DA awareness raising campaigns in the targeted locations across Libya.
2.Support the planning and monitoring of the dissemination plan and ensure timely reporting on relevant activities by field teams.
3. Follow up and verify the data collected of migrants/beneficiaries’ registration, profiling, and services provided related to the awareness raising campaigns, ensure proper tracking and reporting on regular basis.
4.Support the organization of community-based activities that promote Community Engagement and Two-Way Communications between migrants and host community.
5. Support the PM and DA Community Engagement and Communication Senior Assistant in the development of partnerships with local actors including local government actors, embassies representatives and other stakeholders working in these locations to maintain proper coordination of the activities implemented and avoid any duplication and to facilitate any joint activities related to awareness raising.
6. Support the DA Community Engagement and Communication Senior assistant in preparing the visibility IEC materials and collect human interest stories and quotes from the beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
7.Assist in informal translation of project related documents (English and Arabic) and interpretation in and out the office.
8.Contribute to gender mainstreaming throughout activities, addressing protection, social, environmental, and other relevant cross-cutting concerns.
9.Assist to provide capacity-building training to Campaign Ambassadors and community leaders to identify and choose people with specific criteria to be our ambassadors taking into consideration nationality and gender balance.
10.Assist to identify the need for, develop, and implement capacity-building plans for various stakeholders including staff and migrant community leaders.
11.Reporting & Information Management: Monitor and report on activities, ensuring data integrity and timely communication with the Information Management Assistant.
12.Keep track of all field activities and regularly update the PM and direct supervisor.
13. Support the DA Community Engagement and Communication Senior Assistant by taking high-quality photos during field and community activities, using both phone and camera ensuring proper documentation, visibility, and compliance with client consent and visibility guidelines..
14.Assist to identify needs of local partners and planning our support - working closely with Procurement and finance departments to share the needs, prepare PRs to be raised, and follow up with those PRs.
15.Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Creative and solution oriented
Basic knowledge of photography using both phone and camera
