:Full-timeOBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
WHO, a specialized agency of the United Nations, is the directing and coordinating authority for health. The objective of the WHO Indonesia Country Office is to implement the Country Cooperation Strategy by supporting the Indonesian Government in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of national health policies, strategies and plans and developing and managing WHO's technical cooperation programmes.
The Country Office develops a two-way collaboration with the Government of Indonesia in support of their efforts of achieving national health goals; of ensuring the attainment of universal health coverage and of contributing to global and regional public health action by providing needs-based technical assistance in national level policy formulation, setting norms and standards, improving knowledge dissemination and management, monitoring country health situation and building sustainable institutional capacity, to play a greater leadership role in different national level policy and technical forums.

And within the Communication Team, WHO recognizes the crucial value of digital communication, which enables WHO to disseminate advice and guidance to key audiences and protect the health of individuals, families, communities and countries.
SUMMARY OF ASSIGNED DUTIES
Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Head of the WHO Country Office and overall supervision of WHO Representative, the incumbent will:
1.Be responsible for the implementation of online communication (i.e. website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and other relevant social media) activities of WHO Indonesia: managing digital campaigns for WHO health days and UN health-related days, designing, reviewing and revising social media and website content, creating, editing and producing video and photo content.
2.Deploy scheduling and analytic tools to optimize WHO social media channels and inform communication strategy.
3.Review technical materials (i.e. press releases, fact sheets, background documents and feature stories) produced by the country office that require the integration of communication principles and practice.
4.Track false rumors and misinformation and prepare responses to areas of concern.
5.Produce communication materials such as public information, brochures, leaflets and posters; radio and TV scripts; including risk communication and community engagement interventions and messaging, by providing input and participating in the translation into local language and the adaptation for the local context.
6.Exchange information with internal and external counterparts including national authorities on conduct lessons learned to further strengthen communication activities of the Country Office.
7.Ensure the implementation of brand and corporate identity during WHO external and internal events.
8.Contribute effectively to building internal communications capacity by identifying training needs to strengthen social media and web storytelling capacity, preparing necessary technical material and conducting internal coaching workshops and trainings related to content creation and engagement.
9.Ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of biennial workplans, in alignment with Country Office priorities. This includes maintaining zero overdue Purchase Orders by adhering to prescribed country office closure timelines and ensuring all donor reports are submitted on time with no overdue submissions.
10.Perform all other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Essential: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, international relations or another similar discipline.
Desirable: Master's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, international relations or another similar discipline.
Experience
Essential: Minimum one-year relevant experience in digital communications, social media, corporate communications, content management or other similar fields. Experience using a corporate/brand specific style guide and visual identity guidelines across different media platforms.
Desirable: Experience in communication and social media work related to public health.

REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at IDR 697,789,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
