Overview of positionAlKufra is a primary reception and transit area for Sudanese refugees with ongoing emergency food needs. our client is scaling field operations to ensure timely foodand nutritionassistance, registration support and protection sensitive programming in coordination with UN, local authoritiesand local partners.
Duty station is remote and security sensitive; staff must comply with our client /CTGsecurity protocols and be prepared for regular field travel.
Role objectivesTo support planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of our client food assistance and food security activities for Sudanese refugees in AlKufraand otheradjacent sites in the area, while acting as a focal point for liaison with local authorities and the Department of Migration, ensuring coordinated, accountable and protectionsensitive delivery.

Key competenciesProgramme implementation and distributions
Support planning and execution of inkind and cashbased food assistance distributions.
Maintain and update beneficiary lists; support registration, verification and targeting processes.
Food security monitoring
Lead routine food security and market monitoring in AlKufra; collect, analyse and report on food access, market prices, coping strategies and household food consumption.
Assist to implement rapid food security assessments and contribute data to WFP monitoring systems.
Monitoring, evaluation and reporting
Conduct postdistribution monitoring (PDM), quality assurance of field data and prepare weekly and monthly field reports and dashboards.
Ensure timely upload of verified data into WFP information systems and support data cleaning.
Liaison and coordination
Serve as WFP liaison with local authorities, the Department of Migration, UNHCR, IOM, NGOs and community leaders to coordinate access, referrals and joint planning.
Represent WFP in local coordination forums and follow up on agreed actions.
Protection, accountability and community engagement
Support complaints and feedback mechanisms, ensure referral pathways for vulnerable cases and integrate protection considerations into programme activities.
Conduct community outreach and information campaigns on entitlements and distribution procedures used by the implementing partner.
Capacity building
Train and supervise enumerators, distribution teams and partner staff on registration, distributions, monitoring tools and beneficiary communication.
Weekly situation update: summarising distributions, access constraints, protection incidents and coordination outcomes.
Distribution plans and completion reports for each assistance cycle including beneficiary lists, verification notes and reconciliation of commodities/cash.
PostDistribution Monitoring reports within 7 days of each distribution, including quantitative PDM results and qualitative beneficiary feedback.
Food security monitoring products: weekly market price snapshot; monthly food security bulletin; rapid assessment reports as required.
Data deliverables: cleaned beneficiary database exports; Excel datasets uploaded to our client systems.
Coordination records: minutes and action logs from meetings with local authorities and Department of Migration; documented followups on access and referrals.
Protection and AAP deliverables: complaints log, referral tracker and summary of community engagement activities.
Capacity building outputs: training materials, attendance lists and posttraining evaluation summaries.
Lessons learned brief after each major distribution cycle with recommendations for operational improvements.
