About the job:
Based in the Mons, Belgium, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join NATO Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), which is responsible for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities for cyber security. In executing this responsibility, NCSC provides specialist cyber security-related services covering the spectrum of scientific, technical, acquisition, operations, maintenance, and sustainment support, throughout the lifecycle of NATO Communications and Information Systems (CIS).
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Executive Officer and Service Operations Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
Provide advice and strategic support to NCSC Chief on ongoing operational matters on a daily basis;
Provide high-level operational oversight and coordination across NCSC, ensuring all service delivery activities and defensive cyber operations are well coordinated across all NCSC units;
Develop and execute plans to drive forward the NCSC strategy and related change planning, focusing on ensuring operational value delivery in a highly efficient and coordinated approach across a wide range of stakeholders in a complex environment;
Ensure proper and efficient staff management, administration, and operation of the NCSC’s day-to-day routine, leveraging standardized processes and workflow automation;

Coordinate and facilitate planning and foster a collaborative working environment within and beyond the NCSC, ensuring knowledge is proactively distributed to all stakeholders so that NATO achieves situational awareness in the cyber domain.

About you:
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
A Master’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 5 years post-related experience. Or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years post related experience;
Previous people and resources management experience at a large military or governmental organization or private company;
Proven experience in roles requiring leadership and negotiating skills;
Proven experience producing clear and concise documents and giving effective presentations;
Proven organizational, managerial and coordination skills;
Experience and training in programme management and capability development in a military context;
Knowledge of the goals, concepts, processes, frameworks, and technologies of cybersecurity and its sub-domains;
Experience leading and implementing organizational change;
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
