Job Description
Reporting to the National Human Resources Data Integrity Officer and Human Resources Officer (HR Systems and Analytics) and collaborating closely with, Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC), Regional and Country Offices, this role will contribute to global compliance with HR policies and procedures, HR data Framework; maintaining and enhancing data compliance across HR systems; support and coordinate HR audits.
Responsibilities
- Support HR worldwide on the implementation, monitoring and training of Data Governance initiatives; identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Verify HR data in HR systems including ERP system for accuracy and consistency.
- Support engagement and knowledge-sharing within HR communities where HR data is central, such as the HR analytics community.
- Support HR Data Focal points with how-to and specific considerations when using and analyzing HR data from multiple data sources.
- Analyze the existing HR tools and solutions and provide suggestions to improve them with a view to being more efficient; support the creation of new validations and controls to be aligned with the organizational needs and the necessary efficiency to minimize disruptions in the processes.
- Track the number of data validation errors identified and resolved, and analyze the data to find trends and possible solutions to the source of the errors.
- Provide information and actionable insights to make informed decisions during investigations or similar processes.
- Assist in planning and delivering training to HR Focal Points and end-users to strengthen knowledge across the organization, with a focus on compliance.
- Provide specialized guidance and assistance to HR Focal Points to solve data integrity issues and share the necessary guidelines.
- Compile relevant HR information and prepare Audit reports.
- Contribute to process reviews of ERP System functionalities with the aim of improving existing processes and developing new solutions and tools.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field with four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
- High School diploma with six (6) years of relevant experience.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
EXPERIENCE
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Outlook; previous experience in ORACLE is a distinct advantage.
- Attention to detail, ability to organize paperwork in a methodical way.
- Discreet, details and clients-oriented, patient and willingness to learn new things.
- Experience in data analysis and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP is a definite advantage.
- Practical experience in Power BI.
- Experience in IOM or the UN System is preferred.
SKILLS
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Practical experience in Power BI.
- Must be a self-managed, independent learner with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to communicate effectively, with a collaborative problem-solving attitude, initiative, and ability to handle complex cases independently.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal skills, customer service skills; presentation skills; strong teamwork attitude.
