It is expected that the selected external consultant will deliver the final and cleared version of the ICS programme impact report, duly approved by the CTCN and the EC including both the content and the design. An initial overview of the content and length of this is defined below.

Duties and Responsibilities

The task will cover the following duties and responsibilities: o Desk review:  Analysis of existing documentation from climate technology projects.  Review of contextual literature on the topic of climate change, innovation, and climate technologies in the specific domains of relevance. o Stakeholder interviews:  8 semi-structured online interviews (approx. 30-45 minutes each) to inform the Impact Report.  Interviews can be in English or other languages. If other languages are required, the consultant may enlist the support of CTCN for interpretation or hire an external interpreter (at an additional cost).  Interviews will be recorded with the consent of participants. Transcripts will be generated through AI automated transcription and revised and corrected manually. o Data analysis:  Qualitative data analysis will be carried out to identify lessons learned, trends and overall recommendations. o Validation:  Impact report: Preparation and facilitation of virtual workshop (1.5 hours) with Implementing Partners to refine and validate the content.  All consultations and workshops will be conducted in English to ensure broad participation and engagement.

Qualifications/special skills

Advanced university degree in communications, journalism, knowledge management, education, environment, design or related disciplines. At least 5 years of professional experience in developing Knowledge Management, Information, Education, and Communication materials. At least 3 years of relevant experience in the area of climate change and innovation. Good communication, analytical, and visualization skills, including gender-sensitive analysis.

Languages

Proficient in written and spoken English (mandatory).
