ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is the largest humanitarian organization saving and changing lives worldwide. In 2025 alone, WFP supported more than 100 million people by delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. Work as hard as we might, through drought and floods, conflict and peace, disasters natural or man-made, the needs are immense and growing. To achieve a world with Zero Hunger, the Private Partnerships Division (PSP) is investing in fundraising from individuals. WFP’s individual fundraising programme is the fastest growing among our peer set (IFL Forum) and with ambitious plans for the next strategy period, we aim to reach a cumulative income of USD 1.4 billion from 2020-2030. Unique in the sector, WFP fundraises globally from a centralized team that reaches hundreds of millions of people in 180+ countries. Our strategy is digital-first; we recruit supporters primarily through Meta, Google and TikTok, and provide a world-class supporter experience via email, SMS, What’s App, outbound telephone and social media. The programme is currently expanding to support six core languages: English, French, Arabic, German, Spanish and Chinese.

PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
This is a consultancy within the Individual Giving Global Supporter Acquisition Team. It supports the creative production, technical setups and coordination of digital fundraising assets to ensure flawless execution across campaigns.


ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute the creation of creative campaign assets for various digital platforms


• Assist the campaign manager in keeping records of content available from field missions.
• Identify the strongest interviews with staff and the people WFP serves and work with the video editors to create fundraising assets.
• With support of a video editor manage the creation of new fundraising video appeals.
• Assist the campaign manager with creation of donation forms, and .org fundraising pages for owned wfp.org channels and search campaigns.
• Support with any proofreading and/or translation when possible.


Execute acquisition campaign setups across platforms


• Execute the setup of all donation pages in GoDonate, including the accurate setup of any associated redirects and URL tagging.
• Execute the setup of campaigns in Meta and TikTok Ad Managers, ensuring that all creative reflects final clearance documents and is accurately named to ensure the quality of metadata.
• Build search campaign landing pages in Drupal (wfp.org), connecting them to the appropriate donation pages and Salesforce campaign codes to ensure accurate fund allocations.
• Proof and test all elements of each campaign set up to ensure flawless execution

• Work with campaign coordinators to ensure all markets are aligned across collaboration tools (Asana, SharePoint, GoDonate…)


Execute acquisition campaign setups across platforms for
• Assist in drafting creative reviews (copy, audiences, content type…).
• Assist in drafting performance reports by market.
• Perform daily data quality checks as needed.
• Analyzing results and coming up with suggestions based on previous performance.
• Perform frequent troubleshooting for search keywords.
•Support in creating ad-specific performance review reports as needed.


Support seasonal campaign development and execution
• Help prepare content for seasonal campaigns such as Ramadan, Giving Tuesday, Christmas, and EOY.
• Benchmarking campaigns from partner agencies and sharing ideas with the team.
•Support in liaising with the celebrity agencies in preparation for the campaigns.
• Reviewing reports from previous campaigns to summarize learnings.


DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT

Campaign clearance and launch processes running smoothly. Campaign setups executed flawlessly. Effective support provided on content, celebrity fundraising, and any other tasks required to assist the acquisition team.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education: University degree in relevant discipline (e.g. marketing, communications, business, international relations)
Work history: 1-2 years of professional experience in supporting a team in a relevant area (e.g. digital marketing, creative/media agencies, social media, fundraising)


Hard skills
▪ Adept at concepting social media content
▪ Adept at using a range of digital tools and platforms
▪ Proficient in using a CSM to create or edit web pages
▪ Familiar with project management tools e.g. Asana, Trello
▪ Familiar with ad platforms (ideally Meta Ad Manager and/or Tiktok Ads)
▪ Basic technical troubleshooting
▪ Understanding of working with creative/media agencies
▪ Basic image cropping and copy editing.
▪ Knowledge of digital fundraising is a strong plus


Soft skills
▪ Excellent organization and administration skills
▪ Data literate, with strong analytical skills
▪ Exceptional attention to detail
