- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for the ERP team, documenting and presenting the requirements following the ERP team procedures.
- When required, prepare the statement of benefits for business case related to the functionality and/or change requests to be introduced in the applications.
- As focal point with ERP team, consolidates and prioritizes all change requests and sets the severity of all fix requests to be submitted to IT Team.
- Serve as a bridge to clarify questions and concerns between his/her Department and IT teams.
- Act as focal point for HR in the implementation of the ERP Human Resources and related best in class systems in Knowledge Management & IT led projects. Contribute to the system integrations where required.
- Monitor and support the effective operation of all the HR information systems: ERP (Dynamics 360/Sapience), HR Database, Payroll Systems, Recruitment system, ticketing and KPI system, Performance Management system, Leave Module, CIMMYT Academy (online-academy) and Learning Management Systems, etc.
- Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure the availability, quality, and integrity of data sources necessary for analysis. Support monitoring of data accuracy, completeness, consistency and integrity of HR data across all systems.
- Maintain the HR data privacy policy and set rules for data access to different HRIS modules.
- Develop and create reporting analytics through data handling to ensure robust and accurate reporting capabilities
- Maintain and update the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the various HR sub-areas, and report on these as required.
- Prepare supporting document to HR data audit requests, whether internal or donor related. Support monitoring of data accuracy, completeness, consistency and integrity of data across all systems.
- The selected candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related fields is preferred.
- The selected candidate must have professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Project Management Institute - Professional in Business Analysis) will be considered an asset.
- The selected candidate must exhibit experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly bridging business and IT functions, is desirable.
- The selected candidate must have familiarity with enterprise systems, including ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), HRIS, or financial software, will be considered an advantage.
- The selected candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business issues into clear, structured problems and define effective solutions.
- The candidate must have experience in data analysis to evaluate processes and support decision-making.
- A solid understanding of departmental applications and their functionalities is required, along with knowledge of departmental processes and interdependencies with other areas.
- The candidate must be familiar with workflows, corporate compliance rules, and operational needs.
- The selected candidate must have a basic understanding of IT systems, databases, and software development life cycles.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, Jira, or similar software for process mapping and requirement tracking is required.
- Project management competencies are essential for the role.
- English is a must and will be tested, and the candidate should score a minimum of C1 of CEFR.
- The ability to lead discussions, workshops, and presentations is essential.
- The selected candidate must be capable of working collaboratively across departments and fostering positive relationships.
- Diplomacy and negotiation skills are required to resolve conflicts and align diverse interests.
- The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Critical thinking, Teamwork, Client Orientation, Problem Solving decision making, Negotiation and Conflict resolution.
