The Communications and Knowledge Sharing Unit is part of the Executive Director’s Office (EDO) and supports the organization’s global communications, branding, and knowledge-sharing efforts. The Unit works closely with headquarters and country teams to elevate the visibility of GGGI’s impact, strengthen engagement with stakeholders, and ensure coherent storytelling around green growth initiatives worldwide.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communications Campaigns Associate supports the implementation of GGGI’s global marketing and communication campaigns, ensuring consistent storytelling and brand visibility across digital and traditional platforms. The role focuses on coordinating content from country and regional teams, shaping campaign narratives, and amplifying GGGI’s impact through strategic communication initiatives.

 

PURPOSE

The position exists to support the execution of integrated marketing and communication campaigns that enhance the visibility of GGGI’s work globally. The role coordinates campaign development, gathers content from across the organization, and ensures alignment with corporate communication strategies while supporting digital engagement and storytelling initiatives.

 

ENGAGEMENT

The Associate will engage with global communication team members and country offices to identify stories, results, and communication opportunities. They will collaborate with programmatic teams to translate technical outcomes into compelling narratives for global campaigns. They will coordinate with external vendors and creative partners when needed to support campaign production.

They will support engagement with internal stakeholders to ensure campaign messaging reflects GGGI priorities and brand guidelines.

 

DELIVERY

They will coordinate the development and implementation of global marketing and communication campaigns. They will be responsible to:

  • Collect and curate content from country and regional teams for use in campaign materials and storytelling.
  • Support the production and dissemination of communication products including blogs, newsletters, social media posts, and web content.
  • Contribute to digital engagement initiatives including email marketing, social media amplification, and audience outreach.
  • Assist in monitoring campaign performance through analytics and reporting tools.
  • Ensure all communication outputs adhere to GGGI’s brand, messaging, and visual identity guidelines.
  • Manage the GGGI communications platforms: media monitoring, social media management, digital asset management and CMS.

 

REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, international relations, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, or digital engagement.
  • Previous experience in a global organization – in a leading coordinating role between headquarters (or main offices/secretariat) and country/regional offices or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Another language is an advantage.

 

FUNCTIONAL
  • Strong understanding of marketing campaigns and digital engagement strategies.
  • Proven experience working with social media platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear and compelling content.
  • Strong coordination and project management skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS 

Marketing & Global Communications campaigns associate position is a national position. Determination of base salary is subject to the candidate's experience, academic background and internal equity. GGGI provides 15% of base salary towards retirement plan/long-term savings, 27 days of annual leave, and private health insurance that covers dental and vision.
