About this position

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Administrative Operations Consultant. As an Administrative Operations Consultant, you will provide comprehensive administrative assistance to ensure the efficient operation of the Trade and Investment Division (PTI/TIN) office, as well as support the effective planning and execution of the Sector’s work program and its respective areas.


You will work in the Trade and Investment Division (PTI/TIN), part of the Productivity, Trade and Innovation Sector (PTI). This team is responsible for conceptualizing, preparing, supporting the execution, and supervising the Bank’s operations in borrowing member countries, leveraging its technical and operational expertise.

What you’ll do

  • Managing the Division’s correspondence
  • Organizing meetings, both internal and external to the Bank.
  • Supporting the coordination of the Division Chief’s agenda
  • Coordinating mission travel, including preparation of travel authorizations (TA) and expense reports in WPMS and CONCUR
  • Coordinating event logistics, including drafting invitation letters, registration and follow-up of participants, and conducting pre- and post-event surveys
  • Document management, including filing all relevant documentation in EzShare
  • Supporting the RPA in budget monitoring and procurement processes related to individual consultant contracts and consulting firms and vendors
  • Assisting in the preparation, review, and consolidation of technical and operational documents for loan operations, technical cooperations, and other Bank initiatives, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with institutional guidelines.
  • Assisting in the coordination and follow-up of Team Leaders’ operational activities, ensuring efficient and effective execution of assigned tasks.

What you'll need

Education: Associate degree in administration, international relations, political science, law, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.  

Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience in administrative and/or organizational support functions.

Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required.

Type of contract and duration

International consultant:Full-Time, 12 months (up to 48 months, subject to eligibility).
